Q: How much is postage?

A: Postage costs $10  for deliveries within Australia. We Use express AusPost and this fee covers overnight delivery to most locations using Australia Post Express Post. This service includes online tracking, email and SMS updates, and may requires a signature upon delivery.

Q: Will your Replacement Remote Control operate like my Original Remote Control?

A: Yes, our Replacement remote controls are designed to function as a direct replacement for your Original Remote Control. Simply insert new batteries to begin using it. For comprehensive details, please refer to the product page or feel free to reach out to us with any questions.

A: An Original Remote Control is the remote control that originally came with your product. It may also be referred to as a Genuine Remote Control or Authentic Remote Control. In some cases, it can include a replacement or upgraded version of the remote that is manufactured and supplied by the same brand.

Q: How can I test my remote control?

A: To test your remote control, follow these steps using a digital camera or mobile phone camera:
  1. Look at the remote through the camera’s viewfinder or screen.
  2. Point the remote at the camera.
  3. While pressing any button on the remote, check if you can see a light emitting from the end of the remote (Light Emitting Diode or LED).
  4. If you see the light emitting, it indicates that your remote is working properly.
  5. For further verification, test the same procedure with a remote that you know is working, then repeat with the remote you suspect is not working.
  6. Ensure that the IR (Infrared) filter of your camera is disabled to detect the IR signal emitted by the remote. Older digital cameras without IR filters tend to show this signal more effectively compared to newer models with higher megapixels and built-in IR filters.

Q: Can I cancel my order and receive a full refund if I've already paid for a remote but no longer need it because I've fixed my old remote or found it?

We regret to inform you that once an order has been placed and paid for, it cannot be altered or cancelled. However, you may return the item for a refund by sending it back with a copy of your Tax Invoice. Please note that postage fees are non-refundable. Upon receipt, we will inspect and test the remote control and refund the purchase price, deducting a $20 inspection, handling, and restocking fee. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Q: Do you stock remote controls for products such as sound bars, vacuum cleaners, and air conditioners, in addition to televisions?

A: Yes, we stock remote controls for a variety of devices including sound bars, vacuum cleaners, and air conditioners, along with Air Conditioners, Blu-Ray Disc Players, Blu-Ray Disc Recorders, DVD Players, DVD Recorders, Home Theatre Systems, Audio Systems, DVR, PRV, HDD, Set Top Boxes, Amplifiers, and Video Cassette Recorders (VCRs). If you need a remote control, simply email us the brand and model of your device to sales@perthtvremotecontrols.com.au, and we will do our best to assist you.

Q: What if I order by mistake? Can I return it for an exchange? (Please ensure you have the correct brand and model before making a purchase.)

A: If you accidentally make a purchase in error, we are here to assist you. Please email us at sales@perthtvremotecontrols.com.au with your order number or invoice number, along with the correct Brand and Model for which you need a remote. We will verify the information and recommend the correct remote for you to purchase.

Once purchased, the incorrectly ordered remote must be returned in new condition, undamaged, and with all original packaging intact as supplied. Please include a copy of your Tax Invoice with the return package. Please note that postage fees are non-refundable. Upon receiving the returned remote, we will inspect and test it, and then issue a refund for the purchase price.

If the correct remote was not ordered initially, a $20 restocking/handling fee will apply, as mentioned above. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.

 No Batteries are Not provided with the remote you need buy your own batteries and highly recommended brand new batteries for the new remotes.
